We boast some of New Zealand's finest teachers and choreographers in Ballroom, Latin American and New Vogue style dancing.  Our students regularly fill the winner’s podium at Dancesport events around New Zealand and Australia.

And yet for all that, Tempo Dance Studio has an old-world charm about it, where folk really feel at home, and where they make warm and lasting friendships. Tempo Dance Studio offers a large selection of fun social classes and we run regular free introductory classes.

Dancing is a great way to improve your physical and mental health, agility and flexibility and we guarantee even if you have no dancing skills or rhythm we will be able to teach you to dance.

Tempo Dance Studio is associated with NZFDT, NZSATD and New Zealand Scrutineers Society. Our large premises in Birkenhead has two studios which means we have more classes available.
